I’m a Gameplay & Systems Designer

with a passion for mechanics, interactions, and UX. All those really nebulous, difficult-to-quantify design problems that nobody else even knows how to approach? Those are my favourite.

Prior to games, my background is in biology, studying drivers of behaviour and evolutionary pressure. I’ve handled stingrays off the coast of New South Wales, hiked through Nepal, Canada, and the Red Centre, and worked for several years as a researcher and writer on Australia’s most popular quiz show.
